Holistic Diabetes Solutions is a small business, and we believe that privacy is vitally important to a healthy society. Although we are not collecting or distributing medical advise, we have compiled our policy to better serve those who are concerned with how their ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ (PII) is being used online. PII, is defined as information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our blog, website or app?

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other details to help you with your experience.

Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.

All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

Since we only collect the data we need in order to serve you, we will generally keep it indefinitely. The CRA, and other provincial and national government agents require us to keep records of business activities for several years, and those who have benefited from our programs often find it useful when we are able to provide them with coaching notes and records.

Your data is available on a need-to-know basis to those employees or subcontractors who are involved in your service. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when it’s release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property or safety.

We use Google AdSense Advertising on our website.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site.
